Meet Diana Cruz, MSW, LCSW, LAC, QMHP, UMA

I believe that therapy begins with a relationship built on trust, safety, respect, and authenticity.

My approach to therapy is person-centered and collaborative. I don't believe there is one therapeutic approach that works for everyone. Your experiences are unique, and your treatment should be, too.

I earned my Master of Social Work (MSW) from the University of South Dakota in 2025. I am a:

  • Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW)

  • Licensed Addiction Counselor (LAC)

  • Qualified Mental Health Professional (QMHP)

  • Unlicensed Medical Aid (UMA)

My clinical work incorporates evidence-based approaches including Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) and Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT) for PTSD, along with a person-centered approach.

My Philosophy

I believe people are capable of change, even when change feels difficult or unfamiliar.

Therapy can be a place to slow down, understand patterns, process experiences, build emotional regulation skills, strengthen relationships, and learn how to respond differently to life's challenges.

My role isn't to tell you who you should be. My role is to walk alongside you as you discover what healing and meaningful change look like for you.

I strive to create a therapeutic environment where you can be honest, respected, challenged when appropriate, and supported throughout the process.

Therapy That Meets You Where You Are

Whether you're struggling with overwhelming emotions, trauma, relationships, life transitions, or patterns that no longer serve you, therapy can provide a space to explore those experiences without judgment.

Together, we can identify your goals, build practical skills, and work toward creating a life that feels more aligned with who you are and where you want to go.
